Hey I’m Alex, the girl Alex.

I realized I was destined for great writing things when I was ten, and the most popular girl in school insisted on being my creative writing partner. At the time, I was convinced it was due to my extremely trendy “Spy Kids” themed wardrobe. In hindsight, I was just meant to work with words.

Writing is still an integral part of who I am. College at LMU was spent studying English and Screenwriting. From there, while working LA’s ad scene account-side and learning the ins and outs of agency life and advertising, I built my portfolio at the Book Shop.

Fast forward to present day, my spare time is spent exploring the nooks of San Francisco, hanging with my miniature schnauzer aka Gus, surviving reformer Pilates, and quietly judging people for incorrect grammar usage. I consider myself an outgoing introvert and can make a story out of anything. Unfortunately, this does not apply to the intro story and the “Spy Kids” obsession — you can’t make that stuff up.
